The National channel TV Globo, is closely interested in a young singer, Lanna who performs with the block of carnival " Tem gringo no samba ". Born in France, Lanna grew up in Rio, rocked by the samba and the Cariocas song.
Neighbour of the house of Baden Powell, she learnt music with Baden Powell's sons and gave her first concerts with the Trio Powell.
During an Auê (improvised party, unexpected moment) she met Tomazinho, guitarist and composer, keen on electronic music.
Paris- Some years later:
Lanna and Tomazinho get together and decide to write and to compose together.
The alliance of her delicate voice and the ardour of this brilliant guitarist allowed them to gather a strong fanbase.
Strengthened by major figures of the Brazilian scene: the drummer Ney Veras (Marcio Faraco, Ricardo Vilas), Capitão (bass player of Duduna, Nazaré Pereira) and the percussionist Eduardo Tomasi (Bernard Lavilliers, Gotan Project), they found their ideal band which they call Banda Auê.
Brasil-Electro: their new album " O Fogo da Bossa "
The compositions of the group reflect the diversity of rhythms and the pure languorous or explosive Brazilian energy. Banda Auê mixes with sensuality bossa nova and rhythms of sambas, the atmospheres and the electro pulsations. The voice of Lanna, the acoustic instruments, guitar, cuica, tamborim, are combined with electronic samples, textures and percussions.

The group plays with the same pleasure their compositions and a selection of “traditional” Brazilian which always make sensation. The percussions of batucada emerge sometimes from funky-house rhythmic; the musicians take along the public in the vitaminized emotion of this “Auê”.
